So, I've been waiting a year to share this. Not because I was strict to wait a year, but because that's how long it has taken for my face to fully heal after having it practically destroyed and marred with scars from an "esthetician" who had no idea what she was doing, I realized a few days ago that I didn't want to wear make up and for the first time, in a year, I didn't have anxiety about not putting it on. Luckily, I was referred to a new esthetician, Kim Levitan, who has 100% saved my face. Through her in-depth knowledge and quality of ALL her products, to her specific and personalized regimen, she has given me back the confidence to go in public and not think about what others are seeing. I tell you, I have never felt so insecure in my entire life than I have this last year. And perhaps that may sound vain, but to walk around with your face looking so bad for months on end was an incredibly discouraging experience. I really thought my face was a lost cause. No make up could hide that disaster. I'm in a wedding this weekend, and my face was a major concern for me because I didn't want to be covered in terrible acne and scars on a day full of photos!!!
